Inspiration by Anime-tion
“Anime and cartoons are just for kids!”
Familiar situation? What if you could answer “Sorry, I couldn’t hear you. I was busy strength spotting.”
What if I told you that your favourite fictional character is actually a perfect character development tool?
You will understand why you found this specific character appealing: either the person is quite similar to you and you identifiy yourself with the situation the character is in. Or they act as rolemodels and can inspire you in their development. But as always, everything starts with a little self-awareness on your personal character strengths…
In this workshop you’ll experience how you can use the character strengths of your personal hero in everyday life to overcome difficult situations, based on Ryan Niemec’s “Positive Psychology at the Movies: Using Films to Build Character Strengths and Well-Being” (2013). Because I am pretty sure that Legolas, Harry Potter, Levi Ackermann, Kaneki Ken or Sailor Moon exactly know how to handle this obstacle you are facing.
